Missions Ministry

Brodi & Bonni Wilson [YWAM (Youth With A Mission) – Mexico]

Youth With A Mission - Mexico

Brodie and Bonni are passionate about discipleship and transformation. This has currently led them to serve with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the San Diego/Baja area. They live on the YWAM campus in Tijuana, Mexico and live out their passions here.

Brodie leads a 9 month Chronological School of Biblical Studies, guiding students through God's Word using the inductive method of study, while encouraging them to let Truth transform their lives. Bonni has a heart for hospitality and exhorting others. She invests in staff and students by hosting small groups at her home and registering students all over the world for the discipleship and Bible training schools on the campus.

Both serve the community by hosting and leading teams that come to build houses for the poor through YWAM’s ministry called Homes of Hope. Over a period of two days, they work with team members usually from North America, to build a home from the ground up for a family in need.

Bonni’s family (Chitty’s) are part of the Suburban Christian Church family.

AJ offers seminary-like classes for men in the region. He works to develop Christian leaders and Church ministers. They are building and developing a vocational training center to influence young men for Christ and provide them a means of providing a living for themselves and their families.

Pastor Dayanand (Nandu) & Swarnalatha Nelapaty (India)

Pastor Dayanand (Nandu) Nelapaty and his wife, Swarnalatha, are active missionaries in their home country of India.  Pastor Nandu is the Senior Pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Hyderabad, India.  They lead several discipleship programs to train up leaders within their church and join them in their greater outreach to their city and surrounding areas.

Pastor Nandu regularly travels far out into the country ministering to tribal and nomadic groups that live in the mountains and jungles of his state that have previously been unreached with the gospel.  He has been instrumental in evangelizing, discipling and training up men from within the Koya and Banjara tribes who are now actively pastoring their own people.

Mrs. Swarnalatha supports her husband in these efforts and has organized many women's retreats for the ladies of these tribes in order to teach and train them in the gospel message.

“Our Little Roses” (San Pedro Sula, Honduras)

Our Little Roses

In Honduras the ministry of Our Little Roses is to help young girls, infants to age 18, where they are frequently abused and abandoned.  Our Little Roses Ministries was founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ to love God and neighbors with the prime purpose of rescuing the girls.  God is using this ministry to transform lives of these once destitute girls.  There is no other institution in Honduras dedicated to building lives, preparing and equipping once homeless girls.  This is important because uneducated girls with no skills have little to no opportunities to escape poverty level circumstances.  Love and acceptance is provided to help break the cycle of poverty from which these girls come.  Through secular and religious education, mental and health care, good nutrition and Christian love these girls are being prepared and empowered for living active and productive lives for Christ.

Young Life (Virginia Beach)

 Young Life

Young Life starts with adults who are concerned about kids to go to them on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of friendship. These relationships take time, patience, trust and consistency. Young Life leaders spend many hours with kids where they are. Leaders listen to their stories and learn what’s important to them because they care about the kids joys, triumphs, heartaches and setbacks. Young Life believes kids’ lives are dramatically impacted when caring adults come alongside sharing God’s love with them. Kid’s choices made today based on God’s love for them will impact future decisions affecting careers, marriages and families.

The Voice of the Martyrs

 Young Life

The Voice of the Martyrs is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian organization dedicated to assisting the persecuted church worldwide.  VOM was founded in 1967 by Pastor Richard Wurmbrand, who was imprisoned 14 years in Communist Romania for his faith in Christ.  His wife, Sabina, was imprisoned for three years.  In the 1960s, Richard, Sabina, and their son, Mihai, were ransomed out of Romania and came to the United States.  Through their travels, the Wurmbrands spread the message of the atrocities that Christians face in restricted nations, while establishing a network of offices dedicated to assisting the persecuted church.  The Voice of the Martyrs statement of faith is:

“We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God.  God is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his miracles, in his vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in his bodily resurrection, in his personal return in power and glory.  We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.  We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.  We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost.  We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.”
